Ashlynn Trevino
Serving: January - May 2020

Hi! My name is Ashlynn Treviño and I am from Georgetown, Kentucky. I am 18 years old and am currently a freshman at Asbury University where I am majoring in media communications. Although I am not sure exactly what I want to do when I graduate, I feel very strongly that I am being called to ministry. I am passionate about people and desire to not only spread the love of God to those around me, but also all over the world. For many years now I have felt a call to missions but have pushed it aside thinking that it wasn’t the right time. It was at the beginning of this year that God opened to door for this internship with Kairos International and I knew it was exactly where God was leading me.

I am beyond excited follow God in this direction, to learn from leadership, and be a part of the amazing vision of Kairos. As a full-time student, I will be taking off my next semester of school to travel to Uganda, where I will be for four months as an intern. I would love your consideration in making a donation for my trip where you will not only be helping me but taking a part of the mission of Kairos International in serving the young adults of Kampala, Uganda, growing their mind, soul, and skills.

Abby Elam
Serving: January - May 2020

Hi! My name is Abby Elam and I am 19 years old. I am currently a freshman at the University of the Cumberlands with plans to double major in biology and missions & ministry. As a freshman in high school, I fully surrendered my life to Christ and have had a passion for missions ever since! Although I am still unsure of what I want to do after college, I am confident that God has called me to be a missionary to those around me wherever I may go! I believe my passion for people to know the gospel and experience life in Christ is not a coincidence and must not be wasted. During my junior year of high school, I felt God calling me to pursue a long-term mission opportunity after school. It has been a long journey, but God has been so faithful and kind in opening the doors to intern with Kairos in Uganda.

I am beyond excited to work alongside an organization with Spirit-led leaders who have a God-given vision and passion to foster the love and potential of Christ in the young adults of developing nations. As I prepare to travel to Uganda and learn and invest in others, I am spending much time in prayer and working to raise $6,000 to fund my trip. This money will cover housing, food, transportation, and other living expenses during my 5 months in Uganda. I would greatly appreciate your prayers and consideration in donating to support this trip! I am so thankful for all the encouragement and support I have already received. God is so good to me and I am believing He will not only provide but be glorified in the process!
