Nzinga Donovan
Executive Director, Founder

Nzinga Donovan is the co-founder and serves as one of the Executive Directors of Kairos International. She studied International Affairs in college, and has used her knowledge of the global network to guide her. She has a passion for seeing young people make connections between their passions and who God has created them to be. Nzinga moved to Uganda in 2016, and it has become home ever since. She looks forward to growing with Kairos for years to come as the Lord wills it.

Allison Hopper
Executive Director, Founder

Allison Hopper has lived and served abroad since 2011. She holds a degree in Education from Transylvania University, has a passion for young adults, and a calling for international ministry. Allison met Nzinga in college and the two moved to Uganda together in 2016. Together, the friends founded Kairos in 2018 with a mission and passion to better the lives of young adults. Allison currently serves as one of the Executive Directors, living in Uganda with her husband, Ryan.

Helen Fuambe
National Director

Helen Elemu is currently serving at Kairos as the National Director. She holds an MSc in Public Health from University of the West of England (UWE) and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration (Hons) from Uganda Christian University (UCU). For over 7 years, Helen has had vast exposure holding leadership roles while working for different organizations dealing with refugees, children, youth and other vulnerable groups; she greatly desires and works at being an agent of change wherever the Lord leads her.

Deus Okao
Community Liaison

Deus Okao is our community liaison at Kairos International. Deus takes pride in his family and his work, constantly making sure everyone feels cared for. His compassion and love for people is visible both inside and outside the workplace. As a connecting piece, Deus is able to use his God-given gifts of investing in people to build partnerships with the ministry. His favorite part about working for Kairos is that it’s allowed him the support and platform to extend hope and courageous love to people in his community.

Paula Nambi
Administrative Assistant

Paula Nambi is a native of Uganda who graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor’s in Development Studies. Her education background has further fueled her desire to see developing nations attain economic sustainability. She brings innovation and passion to her position as administrative assistant at Kairos while pushing toward the mission of investing in the soul, mind, and skills of young adults.

Peace Awori
Youth Mentor

Peace Awori is a female youth mentor at Kairos International. She graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelors degree in Community Psychology.  She is passionate about seeing young people succeed beyond their hardships and the situations that may hinder them. She enjoys challenging the youth and guiding them towards achieving their dreams. She is also a published author who has written a book titled "Shadowed Heroes" highlighting the lives of Children living on the streets in Uganda.

Faidah Harriet
Support Staff

Faidah Harriet is from the west Nile currently living in Kampala, Uganda. She is passionate about her work as support staff as seen in her compassionate care given to all who greet her. She has a steady source of motivation, humility, and joy that drives her to do her best in all she does. Her passions lead her to challenge herself in constantly learning new skills. She is a devoted member of staff, and Kairos is lucky to have her on the team.
